Texas-Style Brisket Rub
NOTE: This recipe is sufficient for a 10-12 lb./4.5-5.4 kg beef brisket.
Mix together thoroughly the following:
1/2 cup paprika
1/4 cup Kosher salt
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup cumin
1/4 cup chili powder
1/4 cup fresh cracked black pepper
2 Tbsp cayenne pepper

Mix together thoroughly the following:
2 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper
1 Tbsp kosher salt or sea salt
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp sugar
